The Chancery Clerk assists in the functions of the Chancellors and Chancery Court, as well as assists the Board of Supervisors and plays a vital role in many county affairs. The Chancery Clerk serves as Clerk of the Court, the Custodian of all Chancery Court Records and Public Land Records, Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, County Auditor and County Treasurer. The Chancery Clerk is elected at large for a four year term.
